About the role
This is an excellent entry point for a passionate videographer who wants hands-on experience on professional commercial shoots. You'll assist our production team, operate cameras on B-roll, help with lighting setups and manage assets — learning from experienced cinematographers on every job.
Responsibilities
Assist on commercial shoots as camera operator, focus puller or gaffer assistant
Operate gimbal and mirrorless camera for B-roll and social content
Manage shoot assets — labelling, backing up and organising footage
Help with equipment transport, setup and pack-down on shoot days
Create short-form social content on shoot days using smartphone
Support the editing team with basic cuts, sync and rough assembly
Requirements
Passionate about video production with a small portfolio of personal work
Basic camera operation knowledge (exposure, focus, composition)
Comfortable using Adobe Premiere Pro for basic cuts
Physically capable of assisting with equipment on location
Punctual, reliable and enthusiastic about learning
Based in or able to commute to London for shoot days
Nice to Have
Drone pilot licence (A2 CofC)
Experience with Sony or Canon mirrorless systems
Personal YouTube, TikTok or Instagram with original video content
Basic colour grading knowledge in DaVinci Resolve
